Notes from Charlie and Sarah

Where can I find the original PearBudget spreadsheet?

We know that some of you loved the original PearBudget spreadsheet, and want to keep using it. Although we would love to work with you to see if the new, online version might be a better fit for you, we know that the original spreadsheet might be more your style.

We intend to keep the original PearBudget spreadsheet available, for free, forever. Just go to pearbudget.com/spreadsheet to download it.

Hi guys!

I have tried your software program and found that it’s one I can look forward to using on a monthly basis, especiallly in light of the fact that it’s inexpensive.

Is PearBudget no longer in Beta? Can I now subscribe to it? Also, what if I need to delete a current budget plan and start over? How do I go about doing this? I look forward to hearing back from y’all.

Hope you’re having as wonderful a Sunday as I am!

Hi there! So sorry for the delay in posting your note (and this response)! Thanks for your awesome note!

PearBudget is out of beta, although we haven’t pushed the beta testers through the subscription door, since we’ve been getting a few issues worked out. If you’re ready to subscribe now, you can do that, at https://www.pearbudget.com/signup, but you’ll want to make sure you’re logged in first.

We’re actually getting those “issues” wrapped up in the next few days, and we’ll be sending a note out to all the beta testers with more info.

If you want to delete an entire *budget* (like, the whole thing), your best bet is to follow the instructions on the last question, on this page: https://www.pearbudget.com/faqs (look for “how do I cancel my account”).

If you just want to delete a category, you can do that from the category’s pop-up box. Just look for the bar at the bottom of the pop-up that says “category controls” and follow the “delete this category” links. You’ll need to click a couple of confirmation buttons, just to make sure you’re not accidentally deleting the category. But that should do it.

If I missed anything in that note, please shoot me a note (my name, at pearbudget.com).

Thanks!

Thanks so much!
