We apologize for the delay!

We know 2012 is coming down the road pretty quickly. We just wanted to give a quick note that we’re working on the “transition to 2012” page, and that we hope to have it up very soon. It’ll allow you to start 2012 from scratch, so that if your numbers have gotten a little off over the last few months, or if you’ve taken a break and want to get back into budgeting, or if you just want to start your budget over for some other reason, you’ll be able to do so easily.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, just send us an e-mail at help@pearbudget.com, and Ruth or I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks!
So, it’s now the 30th of December. Aren’t you being a tad last minute with the 2012 transition page?
Absolutely, and I’m sorry about that.
We deployed some new code to the server last week, but we wanted to test it before we rolled it out publicly. It adds a lot of flexibility to the program, but it also adds some complexity on the back end. Here’s a picture of our server’s CPU over the last month: http://cl.ly/0P0i0a1v0O1S2E2O1o0K. You can see it spiking over the last week.
Right now, I’m working on getting those inefficiencies out of the system, but what I’ll probably have to do is revert those new (more flexibility) features out of the program and set up the 2012 year transition so that it’s identical to the 2011 transition. Then, in early 2012, I can add the new features back in.
Thanks for all of your patience. More soon.
Wren,
The page is up now!
