I loved this piece on teaching kids about money: My dad taught me cashflow with a soda machine. While I don’t know that it’s a super-practical method for most people, it seems like a great way to teach things like how to invest your money, how to handle lean times, how to handle times of prosperity, and how to account for hidden costs that are easily forgotten, but that add up over time. It’s a fun, quick read.
